1. Starting modes
This mode has the most general application. The motor is given an initial voltage setting, which is user-adjustable from 5% to 90% of the rated voltage. From the initial voltage level, the output voltage to the motor is steplessly increased during the acceleration ramp time. The acceleration ramp time is user-adjustable on touch screen
Full voltage start:
This starting mode is used for applications requiring across the line Starting. The output voltage to the motor will reach full voltage within 1/4 Second.
2. Protection functions
Utilizing the under-load protection of the OSSC Smart Soft Controller, motor operation can be halted with soft stop mode if the current that is sensed is lower than user-adjustable overload current setting value. The OSSC Smart Soft Controller provides a user-adjustable under-load value from 0 to 150A.
Utilizing the overload protection of the OSSC Smart Soft Controller, motor operation can be halted with soft stop mode if the current that is sensed is higher than the user-adjustable overload current setting value. The OSSC Smart Soft Controller provides a user-adjustable under-load value from 0 to 225A.
Protection of default phase:
Whenever the default phase is detected, the motor will be stopped with coast-to-rest mode.
Protection of current unbalance:
Whenever the current unbalance is detected (degree of unbalance >= 10%), the motor will softly stop in 60s unless the current is recovered during this period.
Protection of short circuit:
Whenever the default phase is detected, the machine will stop.

5. Soft stop
This option can be used in application that requires an extended coast-to-rest. The voltage ramp down time is user-adjustable from 0 to 225 seconds and is adjusted independently from the starting time. The load will stop when the output voltage drops to a point where the load torque is greater than the developed motor torque.
To deal with some emergency, it can use coast-to-rest stop mode.
